Providing opportunities to learn new skills or refine those already in place, meet new people, in a fantastic outdoor environment and improve people’s health and well being sits at the heart of every coaching session.

I became a member of the PGA in 1997 and spent time on the Ladies European Tour, but it didn’t take long for me to realise that my true passion was in coaching. Since 2000, I’ve been a full-time coach in the Midlands, working with everyone from complete beginners and juniors to aspiring professionals. That same year, I was honoured to be invited to join the PGA as a Swing Tutor—a role I still proudly hold and have grown over the last 18 years, helping nearly 4,000 golfers on their journey to becoming PGA professionals.

I’m still the only female PGA member working within the Golf Coaching Foundation Degree department. In 2007, I became the first PGA member to be appointed as a Trainer of Tutors and Assessors on the PGA training programme. I also thoroughly enjoyed my time as Chairman of the WPGA from 2007 to 2018, as well as my position on the PGA Executive Committee, where I worked to ensure that the voices and needs of our members were heard and supported as the golf landscape continues to evolve.
